Ginger Ice Cream

This is an intensely flavored ginger ice cream recipe based on Jeni Bauer’s Ice Cream base. It is a community favorite over on the Food52 blog. The recipe also includes a simple honey sesame brittle that gets mixed in towards the end of churning. I unfortunately didn’t try this, as there weren’t any sesame seeds in the house, but its a delicious sounding addition. The recipe calls for tapioca starch but corn starch can be substituted.

Freeze Time: 30 min
